Ryder Cup Recap
Ryder Cup
WOW!! What an amazing Ryder Cup, one of the most exciting that I have ever seen.  The Americans played great the first two days taking a 10-6 lead thanks to wonderfule team play.  Unfortunately, assuming you were rooting for the Americans, the Europeans came back on the final day in singles and rallied to win the Cup. Hopefully you had a chance to watch this great event and enjoyed this wonderful competition.

     SWING TIP OF THE MONTH

Understanding the direction of your ball flight

Golf Ball Flight Tip: How to Improve the Direction of Your Golf Ball by Justin Hicks
In this video, you will see that the only two factors in the direction the ball goes are the clubface and the swing path. The clubface is mainly responsible for the starting direction of the ball and the difference between the clubface and swing path is responsible for the curvature or lack thereof.

Keegan Bradley - 2012 Ryder Cup Stalwart
Keegan Bradley - 2012 Ryder Cup Stalwart

Keegan played incredibly well in the team matches, providing a much needed spark of enthusiasm in going 3-0 in his play with Phil Mickelson. He was by far the most exciting and dramatic player of the matches. Hopefully his enthusiasm and love for the Cup will rub off on fellow Americans. He is a great ball striker with tremendous power and an amazing competitor.
