From the Lesson Tee by Justin Hicks
Greetings!
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are enjoying the holiday season. As you can see from the picture on the left, of my two son's Jordan and Ryan, there is nothing better than seeing the smile on a kid's face as they open their presents. Hopefully you had a wonderful year and enjoyed some of your best golf ever. Now is a great time to begin to think about what you are hoping to accomplish with your golf game in 2012 and create a plan to make it a reality.
In the rest of the newsletter, you will see their are three new programs for 2012, that quite a few of you are playing some wonderful golf, and a special on golf lessons to celebrate the holidays. I was very honored to be named by Golf Digest as one of the top instructors for Califoria for 2011-2012 and would have never received this honor if it were not for all the great students I have.
New Programs for 2012
Short Game Schools, Group Lessons, and Referral Program
I am very excited to offer two new instructional programs that offer a very fun and affordable way to improve your full swing and short game. I would appreciate your feedback as to any programs that you might find valuable to improving your game. I plan on introducing other new programs throughout the year. To sign up, please call me at (858) 254-0889 or email me at hicksgolf@gmail.com
Short Game Schools:

If you are on a series of lessons, one half hour lesson will be added to your series and if you are not on a series, you will receive an hour lesson for the price of a half hour. I will email you when your referral takes a lesson so that you can take advantage of your free half hour lesson.
Congratulations to:
- Dan Wallace: Dan broke 80 for the first time with a 79 at Carlton Oaks. Amazing considering Dan has only been playing for 18 months!
- Serina Bhakta: Serina (pictured on the left) was the medalist (low score) in three of her high school matches while playing for Westview High School.
- Don Thorp- Don (pictured on the right) broke 80 for the first time ever with a 79 at Arrowwood.
