From the Lesson Tee by Justin Hicks

boys playing ball

Greetings!
I hope this newsletter finds you doing well. As you can see from the picture, Ryan (age 4) and Jordan (almost age 6) are beginning to take a real interest in sports, especially shooting baskets in the back yard. My fingers are still crossed that one of these days they will take a liking to golf as well. It's hard to believe how fast they are growing up. I am doing all I can just to keep up with them and their abundance of energy. With summer just around the corner, the boys are really looking forward to the opportunity to have even more time to play and better yet, no school. Hopefully you will have a chance as well to enjoy the summer and play some of your best golf yet.

In the rest of the newsletter, you will see that a lot of you are playing some wonderful golf as well as more opportunities for Play with the Pro.

Congratulations to:

Play with the Pro

I want to thank all of those who participated in the last Play with the Pro sessions. I always enjoy having an opportunity to spend time with students on the course and getting to know them better. For the price of a one hour lesson ($120) you get a 9 hole playing lesson (green fee and cart included) and a video summary of what was discussed on the course with footage from the round. Playing lessons present the best opportunity to have all aspects of your game analyzed. In addition to helping you right away with your course management and ability to make on course adjustments to improve your ball flight, playing lessons provide the basis for prioritizing future lessons ensuring that the student is working on what will help them the most in lowering their score.

Admiral Baker South will be the site of our next Play with the Pro sessions. The nine holes should last anywhere from two to two and a half hours and you are welcome to play the back nine as well. You may share this invitation with your friends to help complete your group. Our group will consist of myself and three students. If you would prefer to have the group made up of yourself and one other person, than the fee is $150 per golfer and if you would like to have the session alone, the fee is $250. If the dates listed below do not work with your schedule, please let me know and we can arrange for a different date.

  • Cost:$120 per golfer (Green fee, cart, and voice over summary included)
