No School on Friday - Staff Development Day in MPCSD
This Friday, teachers will collaborate in District-wide grade-level cohorts to review the MARS Math Assessment and The 21st Century Learning Assessment administered to elementary and middle school students over the past month. Grades 2, 4 and 6 took the MARS assessment while grades 3, 5 and 8 took the 21st Century Learning assessment. The goal of the day is for teachers to closely examine student work, reflect on the assessment process and discuss next steps. IF you plan on mailing cards via the Eagle Express Post Office, do it before noon tomorrow. Mail them in a green mailbox on campus before noon tomorrow, Tuesday 3/20. Click here to review how to use Eagle Express. And of course students may simply bring cards to school on Card Day themselves. |
Drop Off a Gently Used Kids' Book by Thursday
Please consider donating one book or more books in good condition to our new/gently used Encinal Book Drive this week. All books will go into the Encinal Library or classrooms. Donation bins are in front of the school and in front of the library. If every family donates only one book it will make a difference.
