Sharing Spencer West's "Redefine Your Possible" Message

Encinal was very honored to have Spencer West come back and speak to grades 2-5 yesterday about how to 'Redefine Your Possible'.  His message was one hour long and the limited capacity of the large multipurpose room made it impossible for the entire school to attend this assembly. We apologize for not explaining to parents in advance that kindergarteners and 1st graders would not be in this assembly. We understand that this caused some confusion and disappointment for the younger grades.

This coming week and next week, the upper grade students who attended Spencer's talk are planning to share his message of "Redefine Your Possible" with their Kindergarten and 1st grade buddy classes.

In the meantime, if you and your children would like to enjoy a video of one of Spencer's inspiring messages (click here) or to hear the basic story of his life (click here).  These videos have some of the stories Spencer shared with Encinal students yesterday.

Spencer will be speaking at Kepler's Bookstore on Friday, March 9 at 7pm regarding the release of his new book, 'Standing Tall'. Click here for more info. Beforehand there is a free reception open to the public with Spencer from 5-7pm at Oak City Grill.

For older students, Spencer West will be the keynote speaker at the Youth Summit on March 4 in San Francisco. This is a free event targeted to students ages 11 to 20. For more info click here.
