As the week of Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded to pause and give thanks for family, friends and good fortune. During these difficult economic times, we also are reminded that families in our own community are in need.

At Encinal, forty-five families need help providing food for their families during the Thanksgiving and December holidays. Due to the generosity of our community, our Caring and Sharing drive will currently be able to provide a $20 grocery gift cards for Thanksgiving and the Holidays for each Encinal family in need.
