What's the easiest way to give money to our schools? Register to support the Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation through eScrip.
The eScrip program is a fundraising program that allows participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school or organization of your choice. Last year, eScrip contributions to the Foundation totaled more than $30,000 for our schools.
October is eScrip month so please register or renew online. It's fast and it's free. You'll find us listed on the eScrip site as Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation.

Halloween for Hunger Oct 31
Please send a canned good (or more) with your child to school on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31 or any day this week. They will be collected by Student Council members in their classrooms and at morning drop-off. We are hoping to make or beat our goal of 1,000 pounds. There will collection containers outside the office as well starting today through Nov. 1. All cans will go to 2nd Harvest Food Bank to be distributed to local families to help end hunger.

Halloween Parades on Oct. 31  - Families Welcome
Encinal will celebrate Halloween with student parades in costume on Monday, October 31. Parents are invited to watch and enjoy the parades!
- Kinder: 11:00am in the kinder yard
- 1st grade: 11:00am on the black top playground
- 2nd - 5th grades: 1:15pm on the field
Parents, please remind your children that weapons of any kind, including pretend weapons, are not permitted at school.

The lost & found is located on the side wall of the 4th grade classroom block near room 25 (across from the the large multi). Items will be donated if not claimed.

Register for Encinal Basketball Until Oct. 31
For 3rd-5th grade boys and girls
To register and for more info: click here. Students must be registered by October 31 to be guaranteed a spot on a team. All those who register will play. A wait list will be formed for late registrants.
