Last Day of School Dismissal at 11:20am Please walk or bike to make your drop off and pick up faster

The school year ends this Wednesday June 15 at 11:20 in the morning. If possible, please make arrangements for your students to get home on bike or on foot.
The Hillview 8th graders will practice their graduation ceremony at Encinal and will be arriving at Encinal during our morning drop off. Please walk or bike to reduce congestion and make the drop offs go as quickly as possible.

Tomorrow is 5th Grade Picnic Send a reusable water bottle with your 5th grader. Lunch provided.
 The Encinal PTO sponsored 5th grade graduation picnic is tomorrow, Tuesday June 14, from 9am to 1pm at Holbrook-Palmer Park. If you have not visited the volunteer website, please click here. Lunch will be provided for your graduating 5th grader. Please have your child bring a reusable water bottle to school---we will have water and lemonade coolers for refills. Looking Ahead to the Summer and Fall

We hope you enjoy the summer. Next year's class lists will be posted on the parking lot side of the TERC in the windows on Monday, August 15th at 4pm. Then come and say "hi" to your new teacher at the afternoon Meet and Greet on Friday, August 19.
The first day of school will be August 22. The school hours next year for K-2 will be 8:05am to 2:30pm, with Thursday dismissal at 1:40pm. For grades 3 to 5 the hours will be 8:15am to 3:00pm with Thursday dismissal at 1:20pm.
Happening on campus this summer: Camp Galileo will take place on the Encinal Campus this summer from June 20 to August 5. |
Congratulations and Goodbye Mr. Crabb! Welcome to Encinal, Emily Chiet!  Congratulations to Bob Crabb on his retirement. We are so thankful for Mr. Crabb's dedication to our students and our music program. Mr. Crabb's passion for music and performance will be missed at Encinal School and we wish him the best in the next phase of his life.
Welcome, Emily Chiet, a professional violinist who will be teaching Violin, viola, and all of the Woodwinds (flute, clarinet, sax, oboe, bassoon). Emily attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education. Emily has taught music in a variety of settings in Florida, Hayward and Santa Clara. She is eager to get started with our music students this fall!
