The month of March featured a school-wide Read-a-Thon to support the expansion of the Encinal Library book collection. On behalf the teachers, I would like to thank all the families for their support of this wonderful event. Everyone on staff saw the students' excitement about having a mission that gave their nightly reading a meaningful purpose.

This is a reminder to help your student submit the completed Pledge Sheet and Reading Log, along with collected contributions, on this Monday, April 11. The paperwork can be returned in the manila envelope it arrived in and dropped into your student's homework folder.

Please accept the grateful thanks of the entire Encinal team for your support and continued contributions to the Encinal student body's learning.
