| Live Your Life! |

Sometimes life throws you curveballs. Sometimes life isn't perfect. Then, sometimes it is. In fact, sometimes life is even better than perfect. What do I mean? It's simple really. Sometimes life is hard and kicks your ass. Other times, life absolutely rocks!
Do certain things just seem impossible? Does it seem impossible that you are going to ever get fit and in shape? Try believing in the opposite for a change. Believe that you CAN and WILL succeed! Then, see what follows.
The power of positive thought is strong, just like the power of negative thoughts. You don't doubt that maintaining negative thoughts is harmful do you? Then why don't you believe that positive thoughts can truly be beneficial? Hold onto positive thoughts and release the negative ones.
Then, sometimes, when you least expect it, something wonderful happens to you. Something crazy and unexpected.
When something wonderful does happen, ENJOY IT! Way too many times we get caught up in things that don't ultimately matter and we forget to LIVE. All too soon this life as we know it is over. Don't find yourself at the end of your time wishing that you had actually LIVED your life.
LIVE!
Take chances...
Find the love of your life...
Pursue your dream job...
Get fit like never before...
but, whatever you do,
Just
LIVE!
I am, and life Rocks!

What is a whole grain? Whole grains contain the bran, germ and endosperm of the original grain. When grains are refined such as in white rice and white flour, these parts are stripped away. Your body can more easily convert these refined carbs into stored bodyfat. So, we are almost always better off with whole grains!

| Baby Stepping to Success |
By Angie Campbell
We all want to succeed. Success can be measured in many different ways all of which produce a favorable or desirable outcome. A positive outlook often plays a huge part in the measure of success that person perceives. In the realm of fitness I have seen many people reach success - sometimes even when the client isn't aware of it themselves!
Setting goals is paramount in taking those first steps towards success. However, setting several small, achievable marks within a larger more final goal seems to be the optimum path to accomplishment. When the bar is set too high from the beginning often the momentum to reach that ultimate goal results in failure because of the perceived lack of success. If "success" is only measured by the final goal - and nothing else - then that goal may quickly seem impossible. On the other hand, if a person experiences various levels of victory along the road to success then that person is often continually self motivated to reach the final destination of transformation.
Along with setting goals, rewards may frequently keep one's motivation level high. It is important to keep in mind what rewards might help keep you on track and those that might not. For instance if losing 10 lbs. or fitting into a size (fill in the blank) is your first goal then an appropriate reward might be treating yourself to new workout clothes. Many of us have used food as a reward so it can be difficult to break that pattern. You must plan ahead. Don't undo your hard work and dedication for fitting into that size ?? by rewarding yourself with a cheeseburger and fries because that little voice in your head is telling you that you've "earned it". What you will "earn" with that behavior is larger pants!
Another important factor in attaining your objective is time. We so often forget that we did not arrive where we are overnight. Therefore our goals will not and cannot be achieved in the blink of an eye no matter how much we wish it were true. When working towards your goals, look for those little positive things along the way instead of plodding negatively through the process. Good things take time, remember though that time will pass whether you are meeting your goals or not. Use your time to arrive at your destination victorious and you will achieve your desired success. You have to take that first step to begin your transformation. Know that the trainers at UB will be with you every baby step of the way.

| How I Lost 95 Pounds |
|
By Cary Brower
One hot August evening last year, after eating a gallon of Blue Bell Ice cream in one sitting, and then crying my eyes out afterwards because I had broken yet another promise to myself that I wouldn't gorge myself with food, I finally got gut level honest and admitted I had an eating addiction and was eating to try to fill a void in my life.
Deciding I could no longer live with the unhappiness and the misery my weight was causing me, I began researching local gyms, which of course let me to UBT, where I signed up for the 20 week program. Oh my gosh, what had I gotten myself into I wondered! Could I do it? I was feeling an incredible amount of doubt.
All too quickly, the day came that I had to take that first step into the gym. I was immediately "asked to leave" as I didn't know you had to wait to enter the gym until the previous class was finished. I elected to wait in my car, of which I got in, started up the engine and was getting ready to drive off, never to return, when I saw people from the previous class leaving the building! Darn it, I hadn't made my get-away in time and now I was going to have to go in for real this time. One of the hardest things I've ever done was to walk back in that gym that day. But alas, I opened the door and took that first step into what was the beginning of my journey.
There were many days that I didn't want to be at the gym, and getting there was an incredible struggle. But some of those workouts turned into some of the best sessions I'd had, and the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment was enough to get me there the next time.
I began pushing myself to not ever miss a workout and to achieve more in my workouts. I began visualizing myself in a thinner, healthier happier state and I kept my eye on that prize at all times - a thinner, healthier me! It became a race for me that began with the single step of walking into the Ultimate Body Studio.
Now, ten months have passed and not only did I complete the program, I've gone down nine sizes, lost 30% body fat equal to 95 pounds, received my Certification in Personal Training and began working at UBT as an Assistant Trainer.
On my journey, there have been many things that helped me reach my goals, but the main one and the most important one was the notion of how badly did I want this. Losing weight, getting in shape and becoming healthy is nothing more than a decision you have to make.
So I ask you, will you take that initial step to go on one of the biggest and best journeys of your life? It only takes that one decision. Call us today to get started. 972-712-2120. | |

I hope that you found what you needed here. If you are ready to change your life, I will do everything within my power to help you achieve that change. It all starts with believing in the impossible then taking that first step. But, it's not over once you achieve it. When you have made it, you still have one thing to do. Enjoy it!
Sincerely,
