Ron Lyons Ultimate-Body Newsletter

What's New at Ultimate Body?

The next cycle of the Ultimate Body Transformation starts September 11, 2006. We only specialize in one thing, Body Transformations. By combining specialized Cardio, Weight Training and Nutritional Accountability, we can get amazing results in a short time.

Remember that if you refer someone that decides to join, you get $50 when they make their second full payment. This referral program started August 14th, 2006.

We are putting together the Unofficial Ultimate Body Cookbook now, so if you have recipes that meet the requirements of the program for either the "core" element or the "maintenance" part, send them to us! We will publish them and provide copies to everyone who is an Ultimate Body member.

The Ultimate Fit Club will become active this month with the first invitations going out to those members who are ideal candidates and who have expressed interest. The goal of the UFC is to help keep those who have succeeded already on track with their success and to help mentor those new to the program into their own personal success.

Finally, the nearly famous Ron Lyons Body Basic Training Fitness Bootcamp is starting again in September. This is a great choice for maintenance if you have completed the Body Transformation classes. Check the link below to learn more!

We Are Growing! We are currently searching for a General Manager/Fitness Instructor. This person must be highly motivated and capable as both a Manager and Fitness Instructor. If you think you have what it takes to join the Ultimate Body team, write us at jobs@ultimate-body.com

Hello Again!

Did you know that you have the ability to completely transform your own life? When it comes to health and fitness, we all suspect that we "probably could" change our lives in a radical manner, but for some reason or another, most of us never have. Guess what, it's time for that thinking to change. You do have the ability to change yourself and to live a completely different life. One where you are happier, have more confidence and most of all, one where you are actually healthy. Imagine actually enjoying shopping for clothes, getting compliments and feeling confident about yourself at work and socially.

Please read this newsletter and let it ignite a small fire within you. Decide that today is a new day and one where change will get it's foothold. If you will simply make a genuine decision to change, you will then start on a journey that will take you places that you won't believe until you get there. I know, because I've done it. Bring that small fire to us and let us pour gasoline on it. Together we can create explosive change!

Please use the "Forward" link at the bottom to send it to other people. (Simply using your email forward button doesn't always work.) If you yourself have been contemplating joining Ultimate Body, let's go. There is never going to be a "perfect" time. There will forever be money and schedule issues. So at some point, you must just make it happen. Decide to do this for yourself and in a matter of about 20 weeks, you will not be the same person! Call today. Call now. It doesn't matter what time it is, call. If you delay, you are much more likely not to get started. Aren't you tired of doing that? The next cycle of Body Transformation starts September 11. My cell phone number is 214-232-0730. Call me. -Ron

Are You Sam, Bob or Joe?

Imagine meeting two people who have never played in a game of baseball before. In fact, journey with me into your imagination and let's even name these two people. Let's call them Sam and Bob. Both Sam and Bob had seen baseball games, but neither had actually swung a bat or pitched a baseball. Now imagine that you are responsible for teaching both of these guys how to swing a bat.

First, let's start with Sam. Sam immediately gives you the impression that he is a bit apprehensive about this whole batting thing. He assures you that he really does want to learn how to bat, but you can't help wonder if his heart is really in it. You notice that he rambles on over to the bats, dragging his feet and finally makes the effort to pick one up. You wonder if at any minute, Sam is going to drop the bat and run back to the stands.

Soon, you show Sam everything he needs to know about how to swing a bat. You tell him exactly how far to stand from the plate. You tell him how to place his hands on the bat for optimum power. Next, you explain to him that he should watch for the ball and at the precise time, swing and hit the ball.

Sam's response is less than excited. He says, "I can't hit that ball." "Sure you can," you reply. "I have taught you everything you need to know." Amazingly, Sam just doesn't believe in his own ability to succeed. To Sam, success is only for a select few, never to include him.

When the time comes for Sam to bat, he walks slowly and reluctantly to the plate and holds the bat just as you have instructed him. He even stands exactly where you taught him to stand. Then the pitch comes. Sam swings and misses. Within moments, another ball crosses the plate and again, it goes untouched by Sam's bat. Ultimately, Sam gives up confirming to himself what he always believed to be true which is that he simply can't succeed at this task. Sam ultimately lived down to his own expectations. It's not that Sam did anything technically wrong, just that he was missing the most important element -believing in himself.

Now let's come back to the here and now. Sam, to me, is like some of the people I talk to at my Ultimate Body Studios. These folks come in stating that they really want to succeed at changing their body and their life through proper fitness and nutrition. Unfortunately, some of them (maybe even you) are like Sam. Perhaps you just don't believe in your ability to succeed when it comes to your health and fitness goals.

For a moment, let's go back to our imaginary friends. Remember Bob? Bob was also there waiting to learn to swing a bat. You probably noticed that while you were going through the steps with Sam, Bob was unable to stay seated and wait his turn. He fidgeted, paced around and kept looking at the bats as if he was trying to decide which one he would soon get to use.

You started instructing Bob in the same manner you had with Sam. You noticed the biggest grin in his face as he listened to your instructions. Bob appeared to be happy and ready to go. In fact, before you had even finished with Bob, he started swinging the bat through the air, impatiently waiting on his first pitch. Bob was just full of confidence in his ability to succeed.

You know how the story goes; Bob did everything that you had taught him, much the same as Sam had. However, the difference is that Bob believed in his own ability to succeed. He could just imagine in his own mind the sounds and the feel of knocking the baseball out of the park. Finally, when that moment arrived and the ball was pitched, Bob lived up to his own expectations and sent that baseball flying away, just as he had imagined.

Are you just like Sam or Bob? Like Sam, do you completely doubt yourself or like Bob do you have overwhelming belief in your own ability to succeed? After years of working with people on their health and fitness goals, I have come to realize that most people aren't exactly like Sam or Bob. In fact, most people are more like Joe.

Who's Joe? Well, Joe is a real person. He happens to live and work down in Dallas as a Financial Planner. He is 53 years old and not unlike many men his age, he found himself overweight and far from the shape he wanted to be in. Joe's weight and blood pressure were up and the doctor's were warning him to change his lifestyle. Joe is not similar to Sam in that he didn't doubt his own ability to succeed, nor was he like Bob, just beaming with self-confidence either. Joe is pretty much just a "common Joe" like most of us. What I mean is that probably just like you, Joe wanted to change himself but he just didn't know exactly how to go about it. He didn't have the right direction and guidance to help him realize the potential he truly had. This lack of good direction led Joe to try many fad diets and weight loss programs unsuccessfully.

I believed, as I do with most people that walk into my studios, that if a person will follow a proper fitness and nutrition plan, you can succeed beyond your own imagination. Joe believed in himself just enough to start my program. Soon, he saw changes in himself that led him to believe more and more in his ability to achieve ultimate success. Now, after completing my 20 Week Ultimate Body Transformation Program, Joe has far exceeded his own expectations. I believe that you can do the same thing. By finding a good, proven fitness program and committing yourself to it, you will start to see some success. Then, by building on that success, you can reach your ultimate goals. Don't be surprised if you even surpass your goals. Joe came in looking to lose 20 pounds in my program. Here is the email I received from him yesterday:

Dear Ron: I always try to thank people who do a great job because I think it happens less and less today. -I came to see you when I was desperate to lose weight. I tried every gimmick and diet program out there. You name, it I did it. When I accidentally found you on the web, I just put myself in your hands and said "do it." Thanks, because the results talk for themselves. The drive every morning from Dallas was worth it even though everybody thought I was nuts. When I told my wife I was going to sculpt my body, she laughed. You showed me not only how to lose 44 pounds which I thought was impossible, but also that I could wear clothes I haven't fit in for over 15 years. Now I'm driving everybody nuts because I keep asking them to feel my muscles. People thought I was nuts for doing this. I think they are nuts if they don't. Sincerely, Joe

Be like Joe, get started on a good fitness and nutrition program, and then expect excellent results. Live "up" to your own expectations, not "down." And, as always, I am more than happy to talk to you about your health and fitness goals, just call, email or stop by. Our newest Frisco location is easy to find at 6699 Main St. between the Exxon and Frisco Automotive and the next cycle starts September 11.

Recipes from Michelle, Sara and Becky
food

Golden Pancakes (these are heavenly - even though they don't sound very good) 1 cup old fashioned oats 1 cup fat-free cottage cheese 6 egg whites (or 3/4 cup egg beaters) 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp ground cinammon 1-2 packets of splenda Blend the above ingredients until smooth. Cook like regular pancakes. Makes two servings. You can top these with fruit, sugar free syrup, or no sugar added fruit spread.

Vegetable Quiche Cups 1 10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed & drained 3/4 cup egg substitute 3/4 cup reduced fat cheese (you can leave this out) 1/4 cup diced bell pepper 1/4 cup diced onion 3 drops pepper sauce. Mix everything together. Line 6 muffin cups with paper cups. Spray. Bake at 350 for 24 minutes. 77 cal 9 protein 3 carbs 3 fat It'll even be less if you leave out the cheese. They last in the fridge & I have breakfast for 6 days.

Crockpot Pork tenderloin1 pork tenderloin 1-2 cans of diced tomatoes sliced zucchini add all to a crockpot and cook all day on low. I usually give it a mexican kick with chili powder and cumin, but you could also do italian spices if you wanted.

turkey meatballs 1lb jennie o turkey 1/4 c italian breadcrumbs 1/4 egg beaters any spices in any qtys that you like mix together and form into balls (i made 14) I heated nonstick pan with 3 tbs Olive oil and browned the balls about 3 min on top and bottoms remove balls from pan and pour out leftover olive oil (had about 1.5 tbs leftover) place balls on papertowels to drain add tomato sauce (your low carb choice) and heat, add turkeyballs back into sauce to simmer for about 15 - 20 minutes I chose no pasta, and tomorrow I am planning on a turkeyball sammie on natures own wheat and fiber bread one turkeyball = 62 cals, 2g fat, .3 sat, 1.5 carbs, 10g protein. (add the numbers for your tomato sauce to fitday) calculated based on total ingredients/14 balls

They say Different Strokes for different folks, but what about for a fish? This one isn't worth a single cent!

Question and Answers

What kind of results can I expect?

I wish that I could tell you right now exactly what you will do, but I can't. What I can tell you is that I have perfected this program over the years and it is always improving. Changes have been made many times over. In the end, if you are dedicated, if you will trust me and put your heart into this, you can transform your life in ways that well exceed your own expectations.

Where are your studios and what are they like?

My Frisco studio is located at 6699 Main St. on the south side of the road, between the Exxon and Frisco Automotive. We are right next to the famous "Snow Cone Lady." The studio is spacious and incredibly efficient. There is enough space to comfortably train a class of Body Transformers. I have both free weights and machines from Body Solid, Hoist, Nautilus and Precor. It is clean and has a great satellite radio sound system to help provide just the right environment. The theme is "city/industrial" with stainless steel on the walls, perfect blue painted walls, tinted windows and many prints of major cities of the world from Paris to New York. The second location is in phase 3 of the the trendy "Shops at Legacy" in Plano near Legacy and the North Dallas Tollway. This location is very modern in theme with new Precor equipment, spin bikes and free weights. The style is art based with bold vibrant colors and creative pieces of art throughout.

There is another studio on Main St. across from Double Dip called "Ultimate Fitness." Is that your studio too?

No, that one is not mine. They recently changed their name from Firm Intentions to "Ultimate Fitness Studio", but that is not my "Ultimate Body Studio."

I have seen ads for something called an "Ultimate Physique Transformation" is that yours?

No, again, that is just another play on the wording of our "Ultimate Body Transformation." Watch out for the copycat programs. There is only one original and there is a reason that we are copied so often. In the past weeks we have seen the "Ultimate Fitness Studio", "Ultimate Physique Transformation", the "Ultimate Body Boot Camp", and others. We are flattered and as a member of this program, you should be too.

What else do I need to do this program?

You will need a good heart rate monitor from a sporting goods store. Something like a Polar brand in the $50-70 range is usually good. You will also need a notebook or journal to write each workout and it's associated notes. You will also use this journal to log your food on a daily basis. A fitness mat is a great idea too.

Why is this class so inexpensive compared to gyms and personal training?

Because I designed it to be that way. I have cut my overhead as much as possible to help save you money. You will not find designer towels in the restrooms. There is no smoothie bar or concierge. The bottom line is that I can offer you the opportunity of a lifetime at a really great price. You get your dream body and I get to do my dream job which is helping people transform their lives! Be sure to compare the prices and features of the Ultimate- Body Program to other options in the area.

Are there refunds if I quit?

There are no refunds made once you start this training simply due to the fact that you will have accessed many of the highly specialized techniques that we use from day one, in other words, you are buying my trade secrets. The value of providing you with these techniques is realized over the 20 week class. If a person were to stop training before that, the investment by the studio is not realized. Also, the fact that a person has paid for this training and will not get money back helps keep them motivated to stay on track.

Is there anyone who should not do this program? . There are obviously certain medical conditions that would make this a less than optimum option for some people. We will try to accommodate anyone in any way. Most importantly, there is a large amount of discipline and accountability here. With Ron's former experience as a boot camp drill instructor and as a police officer, he expects alot from his clients. If you have problems being on a team or if you have an independent or a negative attitude, do not join this training. We can help direct you to one of many places that do not have the discipline or accountability and who do not really care if you are there from day to day. The bottom line is that what you are wanting to do is tough. We know that it is as much mental as it is physical. We ARE going to push your buttons. If you are easily angered, don't like supporting a team or anything similar, don't do this program. We want success for you and we will do our very best to help you get it!
