The Cost of Fuel is Too High
It is true the cost of gas today is high. The
opportunity that has developed is that every one is
concerned about fuel economy. We should all
consider it a customer service to inform and educate
the customer on ways to get the most out of every
gallon of gas. Clean air filters, proper air pressure in
tires, fuel injector spray patterns, and clean fluids are
just a few ways to improve fuel economy. Be sure
your staff informs the customer how we can help
conserve fuel.

Greetings!
Many people have excuses about slow company times
and attempt to logicly explain away poor results.
Instead of waisting time with excuses lets place our
efforts into solid processes to improve our market

No One Has Any Money to Spend

With the cost of a new vehicle growing every day the
investment in a new one gets to be a challenge. Our
customers need educated why it pays to maintain
the maximum value of this major investment by
spending dollars now to save repairs later. The safety
and reliability of our customer’s car demands proper
maintenance. When comparing the cost of
maintenance to a new purchase or repair it illustrates
the need to spend now to lower future bills.

Every One is Slow Its Not Just Us

I often hear managers explain poor repair order
counts because the tool man or factory rep said so.
Good managers will never accept a slow day. They
market specials to customers. They use open recall
lists to inform customers of their needs. They call
fleets, tow truck operators explaining we can provide
a quick turn right now. Other dealerships have
vehicles on the used car lot that need recalls
performed. Why not contact them offering to check
open campaigns?

THERE IS NO EXCUSE GET MOVING!

Accept the fact good management responds to the
marketplace with aggressive marketing in both good
times and bad. They have consistent effort to
increase market share and grow. They manage
schedules three days out to be sure available hours
are sold. Work today to improve tomorrow’s
performance. They understand the value of training
and professionalism and develop all staff. They never
need an excuse to be slow because their company is
always on the grow! Effort always wins.
