Creating the Mood You Want,

from an Elegant Trio to a Swinging Sextet

A guide to help you and your friends preview the Magnolia Jazz Band

You're right!

The photo above isn't us, it's the San Francisco Symphony. Not your typical wedding or party band. In fact, not your typical symphony either.

A local treasure, it's outstanding among professional orchestras, distinctive because they're excellent, innovative, and UNIQUE. That's my point!

Here's a personal story about being UNIQUE.

"Hey, we ought to gather more friends, and continue talking about this. It's a great topic for brainstorming!"

I said this frequently at a recent meeting of Silicon Valley NACE (National Association of Catering Executives). Networking groups like this help us explore solutions to persistent problems, like how to make our work unique.

What's my favorite solution? Easy! Make yourself unique.

Will you be celebrating a significant event soon? Throw a party and include us. Or do you have friends planning their wedding? Please recommend us. Forward this note or email our report "Selecting Your Wedding Music".

Today I'm talking with people planning parties for Fathers' Day and 4th of July. If you'll have a party on one of these days, or on any day in between, now's a good time to arrange the details, including the music. Have a question? We'll have the answer. Call us at 408-245-9120. You'll love what we do. We're easy to work with, so let our experience help your celebration.

In the meantime, please catch us at our next public event. On Saturday, June 27, we'll be setting the perfect mood for "The Vintage Affaire", in Atherton, and on Saturday, July 4th, we'll be entertaining at two pre-fireworks family picnics in Cupertino. Please visit MagnoliaJazz.com for details on these events and more, and I hope we'll be working together soon.

And keep this conversation going. Please tell me what you think about today's little note. I'll reply to all your opinions and comments. In the meantime, take a moment to find me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter. Want to catch us in action? Visit my Facebook Page, become a fan, and you'll receive an update for each of our public appearances.
