Author Talk with George Hancock
Local historian and author George Hancock will begin his presentation with a talk about the Battle of Ridgefield called, "Who Really Fought the Battle of Ridgefield?"  He will then discuss the genesis of his historical novel "This Quiet Place", which takes place in Ridgefield between 1700 and 1830. Hancock says of the novel "it is a fictional blend of history and romance that both retells and creates stories about Ridgefield."  He will also discuss his latest novel "A Murder at the Inn." There will be plenty of time for Q & A over refreshments in the Keeler Tavern Museum's beautiful Cass Gilbert Garden House.
