Happy Independence Day!
Where's Waldo in Ridgefield?
Find Waldo Here
At the Library, and at 19 other locations in town through July 31st, that's where!  In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the first appearance of this beloved character, independent bookstores across the country, including our own Books on the Common, are hosting a contest.  Pick up a search list at the bookstore or the Chamber of Commerce and see how many places you can find the famous fellow in the striped shirt.  Collect cards at each spot to win great Waldo prizes!  Stop by the Library or call Books on the Common at 203-431-9100 for more information.
Summer Reading Officially Starts Next Week

We are collecting people's stories about the Ridgefield Library and what it has meant to them and their families over the years.  We have started a Memory Book, which can be found near the Circulation Desk.  Stop by to add your reminiscences on paper, or send them to us by email.  We will be sharing them on our website soon, along with videotaped testimonials folks made at the June 2nd Community Open House.
