Greetings Friends,

The Texas Cures community promotes, supports and advocates for research that can save lives and improve quality of life through responsible scientific discovery.  We strive daily to create visibility and awareness of the promising Texas-based research taking place every day.

In an effort to inform Texans about timely advances in our state and around the world, we partner with other organizations to host unique events.  Our programs strive to illuminate important efforts of scientists, biomedical engineers, doctors and the many responsible organizations contributing to discoveries that can positively impact the health of Texans and all humankind.

This spring we are honored to work with Texans for Stem Cell Research and Core Health Foundation on an exciting event to be held at Austin's newest event center (and a very familiar landmark for many of you).  We invite you visit our official event site to read about the distinguished speakers and topics to be covered.

Texans for Stem Cell Research is also hosting their second Learn for Life Event of 2012 in late April and we are committed to supporting their community outreach series.  The line up of leaders is truly amazing and the day will wind down in style when some of our best North Texas doctors and scientists "change their hats" and Texas Medicine meets Texas Music once again.

Finally, mark your calendars for October 19th, 2012 and make plans to travel to Austin.  Texans for Stem Cell Research will host their 3rd annual symposium. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming months.

Spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues and help us ensure access to future research, better treatments and cures.

We look forward to seeing you in April and May.
