|It's the first week of May and that can only mean one thing -- The Townsend Spring Festival and Old Timers Day is set for this weekend, May 4-5. The weather is expected to be picture perfect so it's a great time to get the family out and enjoy a weekend of music, crafts, food and fun.
Also coming up are the Smoky Mountain Highland Games, May 18-20, at Maryville College. Tickets are available online or at the Chamber office.
And to begin Summer, the Smoky Mountain Pottery Festival is set for June 2. Be sure to get your tickets for the Patron Pottery Festival the night before where you can get a sneak peek of fine pottery and purchase some of the best items.
