If you haven't picked up or ordered your $5 parking pass for the Townsend Spring Festival May 4-5, please do so as the April 25 deadline is quickly approaching. If you are planning to attend, you can save $3 off the regular price by ordering early.

Likewise, tickets are now on sale at the Chamber office and online for the Smoky Mountain Pottery Festival Patron Event on June 1. This event let's you get to see and purchase some of the best items before the Festival event in Townsend on June 2. I'm telling you, if you want to upgrade the feel of your office or home, you need some of these pieces.

My man, Bruce Hayes from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, is conducting a "Making My Business Bankable" seminar May 17 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce. Check out this limited seating presentation. BTW, he's the man when it comes to any small business questions you might have, so call Vicky Jones at 865.273.1207 to reserve your spot.

And finally, we'd love to see you come out and support Danny Davis Electric at their open house this Thursday. He's go it going on when it comes to keeping with 21st century power technology. Oh yeah, hit the Coffee Club at McClurg's Decorating Center that morning as well.
