 Juliette Gordon Low's Birthday Bash We had a blast celebrating our founder Juliette Gordon Low's birthday on Saturday October 29th at the Kern County Fairgrounds. There were over 300 girls and volunteers in attendance and representation from every decade for the last 100 years!

 Military Troops will find Girl Scout Cookies in their Holiday Care packages! We donated 708 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, as well as nuts and candy to the U.S. Air Force to include in their holiday care packages for military members overseas. Pictured - MSgt. Troop 112 hosted a Jumping Jacks event
to help National Geographic Kids try to break the Guinness Book of World RecordsŪ title for the most people doing jumping jacks in 24-hours on October 11th! People also donated unwrapped gifts to the children at the Grossman Burn Center at San Joaquin Community Hospital. |

2012 Youth Gardening Grants
The National Gardening Association awards Youth Garden Grants to schools and community organizations with child-centered garden programs. Thanks to the generosity of The Home Depot Garden Club, 100 winners will be chosen and win gift cards valued between $500 - $1,000 for the purchase of gardening materials and supplies for their program from their local Home Depot store.
