JOIN GIRL SCOUTS TO FEED THE NEED - OCTOBER 13

THANK YOU GIRL SCOUT PARTNERS:
Big Fresno Fair, Wells Fargo and Univision 21!
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts Join Forces to Expand Membership and Help the Hungry-October 13th, 11:30 am-5:30pm.
Our Girl Scout Council is once again collaborating with the Sequoia Council, Boy Scouts of America at The Big Fresno Fair this year. We are inviting the community to join us in the "Feed the Need" Community Food Drive presented by Kaiser Permanente Fresno. For FREE entry to the Fair this day, Scouts and members of the public are asked to bring four or more non-perishable food items. Please bring a friend, cousin or sister, and sign them up as Girl Scouts for free, on this day only! Once inside the Fair girls can complete an educational tour of exhibit buildings and turn in a Scout Activity Sheet to earn a Certificate of Accomplishment and a "Fair Fun" Patch, sponsored by Wells Fargo. Don't miss it! Questions?
Call Sarina De La Rosa at 800-490-8653x 125.

Play: PHIT the Pieces in the Right Place
Play PHIT! It's like Tetris, but you move each piece to fit in exactly the right place. All pieces need to fit perfectly within the yellow boundary. Sometimes this game is easy. Other times, it makes your brain tired. Why? Because playing this game successfully requires a host of cognitive skills including: Sustained Attention, Logic and Reasoning, Planning, Processing Speed, and Visual Manipulation! It's also a good test of patience.
LearningRx likes games that boost your brain! Try it yourself or challenge your son or daughter to play!
