welcome / bienvenidos |
Welcome to all 1,291 newsletter subscribers!
My, how this summer has flown by! It's time to start packing my "go to Mexico" totes and arranging for my pet's travel health certificates. I still have lots to do and not much time left to do it before heading south. In all this rushing around, I have to remind myself that each day in paradise (aka Jaltemba Bay) is precious... we never know when it will be the last one. With that in mind, Allyson Williams has sadly written about the recent loss of three well-known and beloved local people. Please see below.
To help plan your upcoming trip or your day in the bay, don't forget to check the current weather conditions on the Official Jaltemba Bay Weather.
To find out what's happening this week and next, read through the information below and take a peek at our online Community Calendar.
During the summer, we publish the Jaltemba Bay Life newsletter every two weeks. Be sure to watch for the next issue, which will arrive in your InBox on September 18th just in time for your morning coffee.
Saludos!

Wildlife Encounters in Jaltemba Bay

Check your shoes for scorpions... and while you're at it, check your hat, too! Everyone tells you this, and most of us do it at least a couple of times before we become lazy, having not found or seen a scorpion, so we quit looking and banging our footwear. Well let me tell you that it is good advice... Read More

Every time I return to Jaltemba Bay, the first thing I like to indulge in is... an ice-cold limonada. This thirst quenching bebida (beverage) is simply made; lots of ice, a spoonful of sugar, your choice of mineral or natural water, and the juice of several freshly squeezed limes. Read More
