August 7, 2012
welcome / bienvenidos

Welcome to all 1,269 newsletter subscribers!

There seems to be a nature theme going on in this issue, which was quite unintentional on my part. Perhaps it's because I've been reminiscing lately of days gone by. It seems to me that when we stop to enjoy the little things like smelling the roses, watching the waves roll in or even just hanging out in the yard to watch the birds, it gives us time to pause and reflect on life. So sit down, relax, take some time to read this newsletter and as our Photo of the Week suggests, enjoy "How Awesome Life Is."

To help plan your upcoming trip or your day in the bay, don't forget to check the current weather conditions on the Official Jaltemba Bay Weather.

To find out what's happening this week and next, read through the information below and take a peek at our online Community Calendar.

During the summer, we publish the Jaltemba Bay Life newsletter every two weeks. Be sure to watch for the next issue, which will arrive in your InBox on August 21st just in time for your morning coffee.

Saludos!

For me, the rainy season brings both rewards and challenges, some of which I shall recount here.... You be the Judge and decide which is which. Where to Stay
Los Ayala

Los Ayala is the smallest and southern-most town in Jaltemba Bay and is located just a stone's throw from Rincn de Guayabitos. It is a quiet beach community with an idyllic swimming beach that is popular on weekends and during Mexican holidays. There are several small hotels, numerous family-style bungalows and a couple of trailer parks. Tourist services include a few small mercados, gift shops specializing in beach paraphernalia, and the many taco stands and palapa restaurants where you can get a bite to eat and a cold drink.
