This is a busy week around Jaltemba Bay -- the Patron Saint's festivities of Our Lady of the Rosary in La Penita goes through Sunday and the ever-popular Restaurant Week begins in Puerto Vallarta. See the calendar below for more information and event schedules.
The weather is great, friends are happily reporting that their pools are like bath water and that cool mornings are very pleasant for strolling on the beaches. The lovely weather makes this a great time to plan a day trip; you will find suggestions and details on our Tours and Activities page. And to help plan your upcoming trip or your day in the Bay, don't forget to check the current weather conditions on the Official Jaltemba Bay Weather Page. Unfortunately, our newly designed map didn't make the deadline because of a small programming glitch. The map is now up and it looks great (if we do say so ourselves).
View our new interactive Map of Platanitos now. You can hover over the icons to read about each of these rental homes.
