Equipale Furniture: What Is It and How It's Made

Let me start out by saying that I feel blessed to be able to live here in Mexico. I love all that this place has to offer... the food, the culture, the music and most of all the wonderful people I get to interact with each and every day. I also feel fortunate that I am able to share experiences like the one I had today with you via this website.
Since 2006, I have organized a small group order of Equipale furniture for friends and neighbors. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, Equipale (pronounced eh-kee-pah-ley) is crafted from tanned pigskin and Mexican cedar strips. Read more

Toņita's 26th Anniversary Party and Mexican Fiesta
Join Toņita and her family for their 26th Anniversary Party on Tuesday, February 28 at Toņita III in La Peņita. There will be live Mariachi, Ballet Folkloric and dancing horses. Dinner is either Chicken Breast with Mole or Chiles en Nogada. The party runs from 6-10pm and tickets are only $250 pesos. Carnaval is an official Mexican holiday that kicks off a five-day celebration of the libido before Catholic Lent begins. The festival of Carnaval is celebrated as a last indulgence of carnal pleasures that Catholics must give up for 40 days of fasting during Lent, from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. 4th Annual La Casa de Los Ninos Golf Tournament
The 4th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit La Casa de los Niņos in Lo de Marcos will be held on Friday-Saturday, February 24-25 at 8am (Nayarit time) at the Campo de Ensueņo Golf Course.
