Panchito el Perrito

I would like to introduce you to Panchito, our new rescue pup. I saw his photo and knew right then and there that he needed to be part of our family. To view more pics of Panchito's first meeting with Taco, our other rescue dog, click here.

And I must apologize for the delay. We will try to post photos and information about all the other animals up for adoption in next week's issue... as well as another great rescue story!

Casa Cooking Classes Really "Cook"
by Allyson Williams

Casa Cooking Classes

I played hookey on Friday afternoon to attend my first Casa Cooking Class. The class focused on different types of tacos and the many salsas that accompany them. As Betty said, "Some people eat at a taco stand just because of the salsas they serve". I happen to be one of "those" people. Since I do not eat beef or pork, I will often order vegetarian tacos and slather them with salsa. I am salivating just thinking about it.  Read the full article >

Only 3 Days Left of the
"Giving is Good" Project

This is the last chance for business and homeowners to participate in the Jaltemba Bay Life "Giving is Good" project, so if you've been thinking about advertising, there's no better time than right now.

For every business, hotel, vacation rental and real estate property that signs up or renews their listing before November 30th, we will donate 20% of the annual listing fee -- $100 USD for every rentals and real estate; and $60 USD for every business -- to these four local charities:
  • Cancer de Mama
  • Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue
  • Los Amigos Scholarship Program
  • PEACE Mexico
If your renewal date does not fall within this time-frame, you may still take part in this project. Simply renew now and we will extend your listing contract for one year from your original contract date. All businesses that list and/or renew during this time-frame will be listed on our "Giving is Good" recognition page along with a link to your listing page.

This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses and homeowners to support the Jaltemba Bay community, while getting advertising on this high traffic and popular website. This is our way to say thank you for all your support and to give back to our wonderful community!

To participate in the "Giving is Good" project, contact us today.
