welcome / bienvenidos

Welcome to all 951 subscribers of the Jaltemba Bay Life Newsletter, and many more who view it on Jaltemba Bay Life and the Jaltemba Bay Folk Forum.

This week's newsletter is a bit shorter than normal due to a minor glitch on our website. We apologize for not including the usual number of stories and photos in this edition, bu don't fret, next week's issue will be chock full!

As a reminder, Daylight Saving Time ended yesterday (Sunday, November 6) for the US and Canada, and Mexico fell back on Sunday, October 30. This means all three countries are now back in sync.

The Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue (JBAR) held their first spay and neuter clinic of the season in Lo de Marcos this past week. Thank you to all the volunteers and to those who donated food, drinks and supplies. The next clinic will be in La Penita on November 16-19. The JBAR Team would greatly appreciate if you could post and distribute fliers in your neighborhood. You can find a link to the posters on the JBAR community webpage.

To find out what else is happening, read through the information below and take a peek at our online Community Calendar.

Be sure to watch for the next issue of the Jaltemba Bay Life Newsletter, which will arrive in your InBox on November 14th just in time for your morning coffee.

Saludos!

As we mentioned above, we were not able to add new stories and/or photos to our site due to a programming error. We are hopeful that it will be fixed in time for next week's issue. The glitch also made it impossible for us to share the link to last week's newsletter. This is one more reason why you should sign up to join our mailing list. Don't miss an issue... sign up today!

In addition, we are currently testing the new changes to the Jaltemba Bay Folk Forum. If all goes as planned, we should have everything finalized by next week. We will keep you posted.
