Mexi-Go MagazineWe are absolutely thrilled to pieces. Rincon de Guayabitos and JaltembaBayLife.com received some incredible press coverage this week in the Fall issue of Mexi-Go magazine. The Canadian publication won't be on news stands until mid-October, but the online version is out now. If you haven't already seen it, you can view it here. The article, entitled "Riviera Nayarit's Rincon de Guayabitos", is on page 38-41. Click on the "Click to read" button located on the magazine thumbnail to view the article full size.

As most of you know, there are two very active storms heading our way -- Hurricane Jova and Tropical Storm Irwin. We will continue to update the situation on the Jaltemba Bay Folk Forum. Remember, you can also view the current conditions on the Official Jaltemba Bay Weather Page

JBAR: Their Good Work Continues Year-Round

by Allyson Williams

JBAR Volunteers

Most of you who live and/or vacation in the Jaltemba Bay area are familiar with the free spay and neuter clinics held here each year. You probably also know that these clinics are organized and staffed by Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue (JBAR) and its many dedicated volunteers. What you may not realize is that the JBAR Team works year-round to rescue and sterilize animals, treat sick and/or injured animals, and find permanent homes for street dogs and cats.

Spiritzito: The Come Back

by Allyson Williams (and my friend Bert)

Last week, I shared a recipe and some history about fish tacos. The recipe included the phrase "spritzito of lime", and I commented that I had no idea what that phrase meant. Well low and behold, I got an email from my dear old friend Bert who explained it oh-so-eloquently as only Bert can do. I have a feeling you will enjoy his response as much as I did.  More >

You can write one article, an article every once in a while, or an ongoing feature... the choice is yours. It's a great way to express yourself, to share your experiences here in Mexico and it's fun -- and seeing your name in print is pretty cool, too.
