"At 13, Matthew Davidson was one of the youngest guests to ever sit on The Couch. His appearance on March 28, 2011, is still the highest downloaded show in the history of Music On The Couch.

I was first introduced to Matthew at the 2011 IBC, where he appeared in the Youth Showcase.  Standing alone on stage with his guitar, Matthew proceeded to enthrall the audience with his skilled playing.  

His knowledge of the Blues goes back to the Delta.  Never one to stop at an artist who is playing today, Matthew delves into the history of the music to find its originator. He has appeared at the 2011 King Biscuit Festival on the Bit-O-Blues Stage (for younger artists) and is constantly playing in and around his home of Shreveport, LA. He also was selected to perform in the "Texas 10 under 20 Showcase" at the Dallas International Guitar Festival.
