Matthew Davidson News
| Oct. 20, 2011 |
Greetings!
"The Louisiana Hayride Celebrates Hank Williams" was a great success last Sunday afternoon at the Strand Theatre! Thanks to everyone who attended and to the photographers and videographers who recorded it all. Maggie and Alton Warwick put this event together in just two weeks' time! It was a treat to hear Jett Williams sing her father's songs and it was interesting to have the actors and producers of "The Last Ride" to join us and tell us about their upcoming movie release. (See more movie details below). Matthew was honored to be included in this special concert and certainly enjoyed his turn to perform, as you can tell in the video below:

About Matthew Davidson -
"One of my favorite entertainers at The Louisiana Hayride Celebrates Hank Williams was 13-year-old Matthew Davidson. He stole the show with his guitar playing (used the slide like an Eric Clapton) and brought the house down with his version of "Move It On Over." " ~Elaine Etheridge, KWKH morning host and assistant program director
"Matthew is our youngest member to date, but don't let his age fool you. He is an extremely talented and dedicated young man with a passion for music and performance"." ~John Howe, President of American Federation of Music Local 116
