The Matthew Davidson Band enjoyed being a part of The Krewe of Centaur Parade last weekend! Largest crowd and longest gig to date - 3 1/2 hours without a break and we enjoyed every note! Well, except for the one sudden stop by the float driver because a young child ran out in front of his truck. Matthew and DJ hit the deck, but Greg kept drumming and all was fine. The band only sustained minor injuries from all of the beads thrown at them by the crowd, and Greg had to tape one finger - a blister created by his smokin' drummin'. DJ survived a fall from his amp when it tumbled over during our ride back to the Elks Club after the parade. Can you tell that we had fun?There's nothing to compare to thousands of people waving, smiling, singing, cheering, and dancing to your music. The band is honored to be The Grand Marshal of the upcoming Krewe of Aesclepius Children's Parade on Tuesday, March 8th at 6:30 PM at Pierre Bossier Mall. Greg and Matthew will be riding in the parade and have LOTS of beads to throw, including all of the ones that were thrown at them in the Centaur parade!
