Louisiana Swamp Stomp Fundraiser

To Benefit Brain, Spinal Cord Injury Research

(SHREVEPORT-LA)--The Northern Louisiana Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Foundation (NLBSCIF) has announced that it will hold a fundraiser at 8pm on Friday November 19th at the Petroleum Club in Shreveport, LA.  The organization was founded early in 2010 with the primary mission of raising public awareness about brain and spinal cord injuries and diseases while funding neuroscience research in Louisiana.  The event is called Louisiana Swamp Stomp and is being held in conjunction with an eponymous recording of Louisiana music featuring a diverse potpourri of outstanding artists with longstanding ties to the Pelican State.  The recording was inspired by Buddy Flett and Carol Fran, two Louisiana musicians who have recently faced neurologic conditions. The Petroleum Club event, like the instantly accessible album, will feature a Louisiana themed menu, live entertainment (which will include Buddy Flett and Carol Fran), cash bar, door prizes and some special surprise guests. The Petroleum Club is Located at 416 Travis Street Shreveport, LA.
