Developing Resiliency
Tuesday, Apr. 26, 12:10-1:30 pm, Tang Ed Center
During times of stress and adversity, having inner resiliency can be a buffer for these challenging periods. This workshop will present various perspectives and tools that build emotional resiliency and explore how this can help manage stress.
Resilience and Renewal
Wed, Mar 30 or Thur, April 21 or Wed, May 18 or Thur, June 23
9:00 am - 12:00 noon, 24 University Hall
External stressors are real, yet how we choose to view, experience and manage them is an internal process. To maintain a healthy level of stress, we must go beyond the techniques we use to handle stress in the moment and work toward establishing practices that align with our beliefs and value system. This workshop will define resilience, examine common traits of resilient people, and explore ways to strengthen our own resiliency skills. We will introduce the concept of managing our energy instead of managing our time as the foundation for healthy practices, high performance, and sustained personal renewal.
Sponsored by CARE Services and COrWE.
