COBOURG -- A late goal by Brett Gilmour was one of three unanswered in the third period for the Cobourg Cougars during a 5-3 win over the visiting St. Michael's Buzzers in Game 1 of the best-of-three Ontario Junior A Hockey League series Monday night at the Memorial Arena.
Near the midway mark of a Cougars power play, Gilmour jammed in the puck with only 1:18 left on the clock to give Cobourg a 4-3 advantage at the time.

*** The NHH All-Stars vs. Cobourg Police Lawmen Charity Hockey Game ***
The NHH All-Stars vs. Cobourg Police Lawmen Charity Hockey Game takes place Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11 AM (Family Day Holiday) at the Cobourg Memorial Arena.
Entry is free with donations to NHH accepted at the door. Anyone making a donation will be entered into a draw for a Chicago Black Hawks jersey signed by Jeremy Roenick, Hockey Hall of Fame passes and VIA Rail passes.
Following the game there will be a free family skate.
The NHH All-Stars lineup includes Dr. Phillip Stratford, Tim Mills, Andrew Rennicks, Allan Brockwell, Scott Pepin, Dr. Carson Kwok, Dr. Michael Barrie, Kevin Burn, Dan O'Leary, Dr. Andrew Stratford, Chris Toope, Sebastian Sparling, Dr. Ari Haukioja and others. The Cobourg Police Lawmen include, Kevin Graham, Greg McCurdy, Jeff Briggs, Frank Francella, Damien Cunningham, Rich Ferguson, Delkie Curtis, Dave Periard, Caley O'Neill, James Hare and others.
It will be a fun-filled event for the whole family!!
