Davis's third tally snapped a 4-4 tie just over 11 minutes into the third period. Cobourg, which had its nine-game winning streak end last weekend to the last-place Pickering Panthers, has now lost two straight. They scored the first goal in all three periods during Monday's contest against the Muskies.In fact, the Cougars jumped out to an early lead when Evan Jasper scored just past the opening minute of play. COBOURG -- After the dust settled following a penalty and fight-filled match between the Cobourg Cougars and the Lindsay Muskies, it was the Muskies who came out on top. The Muskies scored four power play goals on their way to narrowly squeaking by the Cougars 5-4. The East Division match up at the Cobourg Memorial Arena on Nov. 22 saw the Cougars and Muskies scrap out a game which featured 34 penalties, totalling 62 penalty minutes. The game also saw seven players, three from second place Cobourg and four from fifth place Lindsay, handed game misconducts for either fighting or checking from behind. READ MORE
