Learning How to "Green" the AV Industry

Brooke and Kyle joined 32,000 other professionals at Infocomm 2010 in Las Vegas last month, learning how the Pro AV industry is moving toward sustainability and seeing all the new gizmos. While Brooke attended seminars like "AV Systems Energy Management", Kyle explored the show floor playing with the products and learning what new solutions are available to offer our clients. There are exciting new developments in short throw projectors, including useful (and fun) interactive models, teleconferencing and tele-presence technology, energy efficient products, and more.
Another exciting aspect of our trip to Las Vegas was our stay at the Aria Resort and Casino. Aria has the distinction of being the largest LEED certified building in the world. Part of what helped them attain their Gold Certification was the Control4 in-room technology they implemented. Maestro has been installing Control4 systems for our clients since 2005, so we were excited to see how the solutions were integrated into our room.

In addition to controlling the television and music in our room, we could also turn off the lights, open and shut the drapes, adjust the room temperature, set a wake up time and light/shade "scene", and more. All these option were available right at the bedside with a handheld touchscreen in addition to the in wall control buttons and a remote control. The Aria is a terrific example of how Control4 technology can be scaled to commercial applications and be used to promote energy efficiency. Click here for more information on Control4 at Aria. |

Exciting developments over the last year!
٭ Kyle Baysinger is now full owner of Maestro! Kyle has been running Maestro since its inception in April 2005 and purchased the business from his partners, John Lee & Mike Gilman of Lee Gilman Builders, in January 2009. Kyle is excited to move Maestro forward with the changing world of technology, using new developments to improve client experiences.

 | ٭ We have a new, expanded location! At the beginning of this year, Maestro moved into our fabulous new space in the Airport Industrial area in Hailey. With a full downstairs shop and upstairs office space, we have room to store all our gizmos, meet with clients, do product demos, and grow into the future.
٭ We are expanding our services to better support our clients' needs and wants, including security system installation and support, and expanding our "green solutions". We are working on several new areas that will help clients continue to maintain their desired lifestyle while decreasing their energy usage and improving the environmental performance of their home or office - both saving money and valuable natural resources.
