Heroes and Villains
The First School Dance

"Heroes and Villains" was the theme of the first dance held on Saturday night, Sept. 15 at the Children's Center on the edge of campus. Of the 100 students who packed the dance floor, few were dressed as shining super heroes amongst a dark crowd of villains. 
Faculty Art Show Rallies For Change

Throughout history, visual artists have used their images to rally for social change. Some famous images include Pablo Picasso's "Guernica," and Susan Crile's series of the Abu Graib prison. During the opening on Sept. 14, the visual arts faculty also brought social issues to the forefront, including gay families, technology takeover and "green" Indians. Read more...

Celeste Headlee '87

Celeste Headlee is an award-winning journalist, appearing on NPR, PBS World, and other national networks. Until September of 2012, Celeste was the co-host of the national morning news show, The Takeaway from PRI and WNYC.  Miss Headlee earned her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
