Weren't able to join us at the Gala in March? Or perhaps you just didn't win the item you had your heart set on? You will soon have a chance to bid online and support scholarships for students at Idyllwild Arts Academy & Summer Program!
Our online auction begins May 1st.

The Idyllwild Arts Academy Orchestra continues its tradition of performing the most exciting new works of our time, collaborating with world-class soloists and commissioning major composers.
The upcoming performance features the World Premieres of songs from Richard Thompson's Interviews with Ghosts, Chen Yi's Tone Poem, Peter Askim's Elsewhere and the World Premiere of the Orchestra Version of John Cage's Credo in US. Also on the program is the West Coast Premiere of So member Jason Treuting'sOblique Music and Steve Reich's Music for Pieces of Wood.

A Sustainable Journey: A Year in the Life of New Programs at Idyllwild Arts  by John R. Newman, Dean of Students
We have talked a lot this year at Idyllwild Arts about sustainability, and we have achieved measurable successes. We are grateful to the Earth Witness Foundation for sponsoring a fundraiser at Quiet Creek's downtown gallery in support of our students' efforts to "green" the campus.
