Dear Scarborough business/organization/community member,
You are receiving SEDCO's new e-newsletter. This has replaced the snail-mail version of our Business Bulletin newsletter we have done in years past. We hope you find it informative and helpful and enjoy the new format. This issue is a targeted issue and solely contains information about SEDCO's new website and some of its new features (check out the SEDCO Links section on the right side of this e-newsletter for some other new components). |
I. SEDCO's new website has launched!
Visit www.ScarboroughEconomicDevelopment.com and bookmark it today. SEDCO worked with Scarborough-based I.C. Solutions to re-do the entire site and make it more comprehensive and user-friendly.
II. SEDCO's business directory is now live!
Please verify/update/add your business listing at your earliest convenience. To do so, you may search your business via business name (such as Joe's BBQ [on the left-hand side of the page]) or by business category (such as restaurant [on the right-hand side of the page]). Or, you can just go ahead and click to submit a listing to have all of your information entered from a clean slate. Click here to access the Business Directory.
III. SEDCO is looking for testimonials for its new website.
If you're so inclined, reply back to this email with your fill in the blank for one of the below comments and you could end up profiled on our website:
"I chose to start a business in Scarborough because..." "I moved my business to Scarborough because..."
"I love having my business in Scarborough because..."
"Scarborough is a great place to do business because..."
Or anything else along those lines - we're looking forward to hearing why you think Scarborough is a great location for your business!
IV. Request for more Website Photos
SEDCO would like to thank all of the individuals (professional and non-professional) who contributed their great photographs for use on our new website! We are still looking for a) some crowded Scarborough beach scenes and b) some regional photos, such as of the Old Port, Fort Williams, a cruiseliner, etc. |
