We are enjoying truly beautiful weather on the farm and at the markets and hope you are as well!
Work continues on the NEW WEB SITES (one for meat and another for the soaps) which will be up soon (look for a special announcement!). You will be able to select specific delivery locations and dates at the same time you order! And guess what?? After a decade or more of requests for such, there will be RECIPES on the web site!
Farmers Markets are still going on! We keep getting asked "When will they end?" ENMF ends Halloween, but WNFM and FFM go all year long! In December Peaceful Pastures will change to visiting each of the two remaining markets once a month instead of every week.
 
Sign ups are open now for the WINTER CSA season (November-April) with drop off locations at FFM, WNFM and Cookeville. Of course you can always pick up at the farm as well. First pick up is November 10 for both FFM and WNFM.
 
EBT users you can buy from Peaceful Pastures using market tokens deducted from your EBT card. You can also place an order in advance and pay for it at the market using EBT tokens. This service is made available by market managers (only) at ENFM and WNFM.
 
GA/FL customers make sure you heed the deadlines for the upcoming December delivery. They are much earlier than usual and are listed at the bottom of this newsletter.
 
Peaceful Pastures will be closed October 8 to 14 for Miss Tina's birthday and fall break.

Thanksgiving Turkeys!!! 

 

 

PASTURED, soy free, GMO free turkeys!! We have sold out the last two years, so be sure to reserve your turkey ASAP. Estimated weights are 16 to 22 pounds each. Same price as last year ($4.49/pound). A $10 deposit reserves a bird for you. Size selection will be on a "first come" basis.

Delivery locations:
Linden Corner Wednesday, November 7, 4-6 p.m.
Franklin Farmers Market Saturday, November 17, 8-12 p.m.
The Good Shepherd, Cookeville, Thursday, November 15, pick up starts at noon or after.
We are still working on getting a drop off approved at WNFM.
