We have a short, SPECIAL EDITION this month to let everyone know about The Hot Summer Specials ON SALE. The prices will be changed on the web site's shopping cart this week, but new prices are in effect immediately.
Now just some quick housekeeping:
FARMERS MARKET CUSTOMERS - If you order eggs for pick up at the markets, PLEASE pick them up. The demand for eggs is very high, yet we are having up to 20% of the people not picking up their order. We don't want to require them to be pre-paid so we respectfully ask you to please follow through with your commitment to buy.
GA/FL CUSTOMERS - This Friday, July 16 is the deadline to order 50 pounds or more of ground beef, 25 pounds or more of pork sausage, bulk beef (quarter, half, whole) and bulk pork (half, whole) for the August 17 & 18 delivery. If you do not order by Friday we cannot guarantee your order will be filled.

25# Bags of our choice of products. Will usually include both raw meaty bone products (ex: neck bones, back bones) and organs (ex: spleen, liver, kidney). No chicken or chicken parts. Great not only for pets, but also adventurous dinners and people who like to make stocks. All meats are individually packaged, labeled and USDA inspected, human grade. $25.00 for 25 pounds, on sale when you buy 5 bags or more for only $22.50 each, 10% savings. You must take delivery of all five bags at the same time. |
HELP WANTED: House "Elf"
We have filled the Soap Elf position you read about in the previous newsletter, and are now seeking a House Elf to replace Rachel (my right arm and left brain) when she leaves to be a full time Mom. The job includes cleaning, cooking, laundry and filling retail orders, 20-25 hours per week -- no evenings or weekends. Ideal for SAH mom w/ kids in school or retired person. Must be a highly organized neat freak, able to multitask and very flexible. Permanent position here on the farm with health insurance.
This job involves housework (cleaning, laundry), cooking (food prep, meals, making dog treats), soap making/cutting and occasional assistance with filling retail orders (meats, soap, yarn, fleeces) in a busy, congested and often chaotic environment. If you are a highly organized, motivated, efficient person that takes pride in their work and doesn't like to be bored, this may be the job for you!
