News Update for Corvette World Tribute
August 18 – 21, Road America

The 2011 Corvette World Tribute at Road America is shooting for the largest participant turnout celebrating Corvette racing.  The CWT is on track to surpass a celebration at Laguna Seca in 2002.

Some highlights of what’s in store

TRACK TIME FOR ALL CWT ENTRANTS – Over an hour each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and all of Sunday on Road America’s classic 4 mile course.  Sessions will be scheduled for Race cars, High Performance cars, Touring cars and Display cars. 

CORVETTE FIELD OF DREAMS – Corvette race car legends on display

CORVETTES RACING THROUGH TIME – Friday Panel presentations, Roundtable discussions and Racer reunions moderated by experts and Q & A.  Photographs, autographs and special guests will be on hand.

C6R ZR1 ALMS GT CORVETTE RACING TEAM– State-of-the-art Corvettes pitted against Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Jaguar, Ford GT and Panoz, Green Flag at 3pm Saturday.

Chevrolet and Corvette history in the making
The CWT celebrates 100 years of Chevrolet and the re-dedication of the famous Corvette Bridge with many noted Corvette racing figures on hand. 

Traditional Corvette Corral, Vendor marketplace, a Concours, an Autocross, Prizes, Awards, the Quest Documentary film about the Corvette’s first victory and its return to Le Mans and more.
