Louis M. Dekmar
Not unlike issues associated with presidential campaigns, as public safety agencies engage in CALEA Accreditation there are many factors that can serve to derail the intended focus. Sometimes the concerns that emerge during the pursuit of CALEA Accreditation work to overshadow what is really important. And what is really important is the process. More

ATTENTION - MOBILE CONFERENCE ATTENDEES
New Process for Obtaining Training Certificates!
Starting with the Mobile Conference, CALEA has developed a new system to process Certificate(s) of Training requests from conference attendees. The new process is more efficient and will result in attendees receiving their training certificates much sooner. The process is simple and easy to use by requestors. After the conference has ended, attendees wanting certificates for the training classes they attended will log into the conference section on the CALEA website, using the ID and password they were emailed when they registered for the conference. Next click the Submit Training Certificate Request link found under the Schedule tab to select the specific workshop session(s). CALEA will review and approve the requests, then email the attendee the Certificate(s) of Training in a html file format for downloading. Instead of weeks, attendees will have their certificate(s) within days of their request.
CALEA will send an email message to all Mobile Conference attendees when the site is ready to accept certificate requests.
