HOW ARE WE DOING? Take the CALEA Survey
We are eager to hear from CALEA clients and potential clients, conference attendees, website visitors, or others!
This survey instrument is provided as a means of soliciting information on how CALEA can improve its programs, processes and/or service delivery strategies. The form can also be used for submitting feedback on the benefits of CALEA Accreditation programming. All survey feedback is completely anonymous, but information provided through this tool may be used by CALEA in open meetings and may be released for the purpose of marketing enhancements. Your thoughts, comments, and suggestions are of tremendous value as CALEA continuously strives to remain the Gold Standard for public safety agencies and the preeminent leader in professional public safety accreditation services.
You will find links to the survey in future issues of this newsletter on the right side bar, as well as the CALEA website.

Creating a Police Quality Management System
As indicated by CALEA, the purpose of its Accreditation Programs is "to improve the delivery of public safety services, primarily by: maintaining a body of standards, developed by public safety practitioners, covering a wide range of up-to-date public safety initiatives; establishing and administering an accreditation process; and recognizing professional excellence." To complement its compliance with CALEA's body of internationally accepted standards and to enhance its organizational performance, the Surprise, Arizona Police Department (SPD) is also innovatively applying international business management standards.
