Announcing a new cooking class series, the French Immersion Summer Camp, and private walking tours for children in Paris!
Greetings!

After a few weeks of settling into 2012 and enjoying all the activities Winter has to offer, now comes the time to start planning a fun and educational summer for our children! With this in mind, we at The Language of Food have been busy concocting programs that focus on their learning French while being busy doing other things!

We are happy to announce that we will again offer fun and educational activities this summer at The French Immersion Summer Camp. Also, this summer we will offer for the first time Private Immersion Tours for your children in Paris, France in July 2012 with an emphasis on Arts, Culture, Food, Lifestyle, and the French language. So if you are heading to Paris this summer with your children, trust us to give them an unforgettable experience based entirely on your children's interests and activities while you either experiment Paris your own "grown-up" way or get some work done during the hours of the day! See below for more information or call/e-mail Marie at 303-819-4084!

But first of all, I will be happy to cook on Saturdays with your children again this coming March with The French Cooking Club's new 6-class series from March 3rd to May 12th, 2012! We will explore "les recettes de grand-mère" (grandma's recipes)!

Private Immersion Tours  in Paris, France
Marie à Paris
July 2012
You are heading to Paris this summer and you would like your  child(ren) to be involved in a creative French-language immersion program? No problem!  Some parents have shared with me a wish to see their children participate in kid-friendly programs during their stay in "La capitale," so we created "Private Immersion Tours in Paris" with daily excursions and participation in local workshops, cooking classes and exhibitions for your school-age children. Tour guide and  teachers are myself, Betsy Tobin (from Now or Never Theatre) and Clara Elliot (from Arte & Línguas where I taught French Cooking Camp last July in Lisbon).
For a complete description of our Tour program, references, and teacher's biographies please call Marie at 303-819-4084
Group size limited.

Price: $100/day/child
(all expenses included). Children bring their own lunch except for Friday lunch.

5% discount for siblings and best friends!

Parents, please, feel free to call Marie at 303-819-4084 with any questions you might have concerning any of our Summer or year-long programs!

Spread the word and share these great programs with your friends by forwarding this newsletter to them. You will receive a 5% discount to any of our programs if they refer you when registering!

A very big thank you for your continuous support for The Language of Food. Your feedback and the language progress the children achieve are what motivate us to continue to develop new ways to increase your children's ability to learn more French!

Un grand merci!
