Falcons Don't Flock. They Soar!!

Let's Show our Falcon Pride!

Each day at Foxborough Regional Charter School, we aspire to our personal best and demonstrate to others that we are proud of our school!  On the trails of our new wing opening and looking forward to celebrating our 15th year starting in the fall, we have examined the core beliefs that exemplify school pride and revisited how we can strengthen them to continue to grow and build our sense of community.

With this motivation, we have submitted a revised dress code policy for Board approval and look forward to making adjustments that will enhance our dress code and make it easier for parents!

While the colors of our revised dress code policy will remain unchanged, the styles will be defined more clearly and the falcon logo clothing will be provided through a school vendor at a cost that will be comparable or better than retail stores! Within the revised policy, students will be required to wear a logo shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater. Several vendors were contacted for pricing information.  Collared, logoed shirts start at $9.00 and vary depending on style and details.  Sweatshirts start at $12.50.  Parents can purchase all other dress code items at the stores that they choose.  While parents will only have to buy the tops from the vendor, they will have the option to purchase all dress code items from the company, including pants, shorts, jumpers, accessories, and even tights and socks.

In addition to providing competitive pricing, we will create a convenient one stop purchasing process including online, in person, and mail order options to support your shopping needs.

In the next month we will publish the final dress code policy for 2012-2013, along with a schedule of dates that will include:

Dress Code Clothing Fashion Shows

Dress Code Online Order Catalog

Dress Code Clothing Order Forms

Dress Code Clothing Order Deadlines

Dress Code Clothing Order Delivery Dates

I look forward to keeping you posted on our progress and to working with you throughout the spring.

Grim ReaperGrim Reaper Day occurred at the high school on 3/23/12.

The Grim (IL Jim Obenchain) prowled the hallways and selected high school students to be part of a group of students representing the drunk driving statistic 1 person is killed each 50 minutes by a drunk driver.  Students selected by the Grim Reaper wore black tee shirts with the story of their demise written on the front.  Students were required not to speak and ate at a separate table at lunch. This awareness campaign was sponsored by the high school SADD. Grim Reaper 2
