City of N. Miami Beach Preliminary Mold Assessments
This project was initiated as a result of building occupant health concerns associated with mold growth in three public buildings. Preliminary Mold Assessments (PMAs) were conducted by GLE. GLE was also commissioned to perform an asbestos survey and radon screening in one of the public buildings. |
City of Daytona Beach Asbestos Consulting Services
GLE is working with the City of Daytona on renovations to a Main Street Pier Restaurant that required asbestos consulting services, including the development of an asbestos removal workplan, preparation for the asbestos abatement and oversight services.

City of Haines City Fire Station
GLE was re-selected in 2008 to serve as the City of Haines City's Architectural Consultant. Via this contract, GLE is currently completing the A/E design of a new Fire Station. |
Manatee County Environmental Term Contract
GLE has held an environmental term contract with Manatee County since 2000. Services include environmental engineering, asbestos consulting, industrial hygiene and indoor air quality. GLE has completed almost 90 projects for Manatee County under this Environmental Term Contract. |

Construction Finished on the Florida National Guard Vehicle Maintenance Bay

DMA Armory
 | Affairs to provide A/E services for an addition to the existing Florida National Guard Armory vehicle maintenance building in Haines City, Florida. The addition was recently completed, click here to see more pics!
15 Ton Overhead Bridge Crane | Design concerns and challenges consisted of locating multiple vehicle maintenance equipment items, such as vehicle exhaust systems, a vehicle wash, overhead lubrication oil system, electrical vehicle analysis computers, and hazardous material storage and containment. GLE also had to provide building ventilation for mechanical equipment, while not interfering with the path of the 15 ton overhead bridge crane. |
Seminole County Asbestos & Indoor Air Quality Contract
GLE recently won an Asbestos & Indoor Air Quality contract with Seminole County. Included in the contract scope of work is the review of the building's mechanical plans and visual observation of the HVAC systems, GLE's in-house Mechanical Engineers will prove valuable when these services are required. |

Hillsborough County A/E Term Contract

Hillsborough County Mosquito and Aquatic Weed Control Facility
GLE is providing the design and construction documents for a new Mosquito and Aquatic Weed Control Facility.
Hillsborough County Emergency Operation Center
GLE is providing A/E services for a 5,000 SF addition to the south side of the Hillsborough County Emergency Operating Center (EOC), as well as complete interior renovations to the facility.
Hillsborough County Glover School
GLE is providing A/E services for the restoration of the Glover School. The building is listed under the Historic Preservation Act (built in 1932).

Broward County Judicial Building
GLE was contracted by Broward County to perform a comprehensive Indoor Air Quality and water intrusion study for the Broward County Judicial Complex. GLE investigated the facility's building envelope for moisture intrusion and elevated humidity. Using in-house mechanical engineering and industrial hygiene staff, GLE completed an extensive HVAC system assessment of 93 individual air handling units, in addition to an evaluation of the indoor air environment. |
