MOMS Orange County's Infant Health & Development Program

A key component of MOMS Orange County's home visitation program and
group education classes is infant health and development. Developed in
2000 as a result of client focus groups revealing the overwhelming
concern clients had about their baby's normal development and future
school readiness, MOMS infant health and development interventions
include educating parents on early brain development, modeling positive
play activities for early brain stimulation, screening infants for
achievements of developmental milestones, and referring infants with

October is Women's Health Month!

 The women of ABC7 and MOMS Orange County want to invite you to get healthy in the month of October! Throughout the month of October, ABC7 is joining forces with Aetna
and community partners in promoting the "ABCs of Women's Health:
Prevention Matters," which urges women to become more aware of their
health and to attend various events aimed at raising awareness and

FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN In celebration of National Child Awareness Month, the 9th Annual Festival of Children®
spanned the entire month of September at South Coast Plaza in Costa
Mesa, CA. MOMS Orange County was represented at the Festival of Children and
enjoyed interacting with all the families who visited its booth. HANNA ANDERSSON MOMS Orange County thanks Hanna Andersson
for its tremendous generosity in August and September 2010. Through its "Hanna Me Downs" promotional giving program, Hanna Andersson
donated more than 900 new and gently used children's books to MOMS
