Halloween Giving with Disneyland Resort

For the past 4 years, MOMS Orange County has been selected as the charity recipient of the annual Disneyland Resort's Little Monsters event - an exciting night for all the cast members and their families!
As dusk settled over Disney's California Adventure Park, the buzz of anticipation emanated from the eager children dressed in their Halloween best. (read more)

MOMS Orange County and its mission of "Helping Families Have Healthy Babies," is
not just an abstract concept represented by a colorful logo, but is
made up of many real people working in collaboration with each other to
serve our clients. These individuals put into motion the mission of
MOMS Orange County through their hands, feet, hearts and minds. In
each Lil' Bits edition, we will introduce you to one of the many

St. Joseph Health System Foundation's
Wellness and Prevention Initiative
|
MOMS Orange County received $50,000 for its Childhood Obesity
Prevention-Early Intervention Project from the St. Joseph Health System
Foundation.
 The grant award is part of the St. Joseph Health System
Foundation's Wellness and Prevention Initiative and will support
expanded breastfeeding education for low-income mothers and their

MOMS Orange County clients smile for
the camera with Aimee Vu and Senator Lou Correa at a Child Car Seat & Training Fair on
October 3, 2009. Through a grant from State Farm Insurance, 49 car seats were
installed with one-on-one safety training for families. The event was hosted by
Senator Correa's office in partnership with MOMS Orange County, California Highway Patrol, National Latino
Peace Officers Association, and State Farm Insurance.
