MOMS Receives CalOptima Safety Net Award

MOMS Orange County was one of four organizations to receive the 2009 CalOptima Safety Net Award in Honor of Mary K. Dewane in the amount of $25,000.  Selected from a group of 33 nominations (the largest number in the history of the award), MOMS Orange County was recognized for its efforts to provide access to prenatal care for low-income women at risk for poor birth and maternal health outcomes..  (read more)

Thank you to the 8th Annual Festival of Children and all our wonderful MOMS Orange County volunteers!  The Festival of Children is a wonderful, family-friendly event which connects many charities serving children like MOMS Orange County with the larger community and engages the general public through free activities, celebrity appearances, and live performances in the month of September.

MOMS Orange County VietMOMS Maternal Child Health Coordinators, Thu Cai and Annie Nguyen, greet Senator Lou Correa at the 2nd Annual Vietnamese Family Fun Day (Health & Resource Fair) at Sigler Park on July 25, 2009.  The event, which included health screenings, games and entertainment for families, drew an estimated 2,000 people.
