 DEADLINE TO VOTE ON PROPOSED BYLAWS CHANGE APPROACHING
Deadline to vote is 5:00 pm Pacific Time on July 16, 2010
The proposed DEMA Bylaws change would affect Article XIV Section 5. Any individual that had recently served on the DEMA Board of Directors for two consecutive elected terms would be prevented from volunteering or being considered for further service on the DEMA Board until they had vacated the Board for a minimum of one year.

Tom Ingram Continutes Leadership Role with CalSAE
Tom Ingram, Executive Director of the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association (DEMA) has been elected as statewide Board Chair for the California Society of Association Executives (CalSAE).
CalSAE is the third largest Society of Association Executives in the nation and has more than 1,200 members throughout the state of California. CalSAE provides professionals in the association, hotel and services industries with a rich array of education and training programs, services, and networking opportunities. CalSAE membership includes executives from prominent trade and professional associations and societies throughout California.
